Well there has indeed been a lack of updates here on this blog..
That's because, unfortunately I've been sick the whole week, and was made to lie in bed so that I don't jeopardize my family's trip to the US of A tomorrow. (Today night rather but you know)
What does this mean?
Well some people could have lost a fortune because of this.
What does it really mean?
This really means I'm a tad behind, haven't had my second june meeting (which is really unfortunate)
And wasn't able to upload the time and research plan.
Does this mean this is the end? D':
No. Fear not. For I have the whole plot in my head, and now I need time (holidays much! :D) to write it down.
So basically, During two weeks im in the USA, and I'm sure I'll find some spare time to jot down things on my ipod, or my sisters laptop... no she's not taking it with her... erm well yeah, iPod and paper will always be there! :)
Then once I'm back, I'll be able to do my research, interview some people, and start the hefty work on the machinima already.
So yeah, I'll be keeping you updated with anything new that happens!
(Also little sidenote to Mr Rawson, I wasn't able to upload a word document either... I had to copy and paste what I've written into this "new post"... Maybe I'm a noob, or maybe something is broken... I don't know :P)

My statement of intent
The Statement of Intent
Rescue is inevitable - machinima
The goal of my project is to create a five to eight minute comedy machinima. The audience I’m aiming at, are children to teenagers to young adults (ages 10 to 25)
I aim for the project to not only provide entertainment and provide laughs, but also to bring forth the new genre of film making “machinima” to a broader audience.
I chose a machinima for my project, because I have wanted to create one since I was 11, but always lacked the time and the inspiration for it, since I’m doing it for school, I MUST complete it and it gets graded, so it pushes me to do my best on it, and enjoy it at the same time.
The ultimate goal for me is to have an 8 minute machinima, uploaded on my YouTube channel, warcraftmovies.net and machinima.com, make sure it’s entertaining for gamers and non-gamers, and to make people laugh, giggle, or smile. The machinima will be voice acted by me, family and friends, will have a soundtrack and many pop culture references spoofing them or simply including famous memes.
Which AoI does it have to do with? Human Ingenuity. My AoI goal is to explore Human Ingenuity by filming my own 8 minute animated movie using present models, textures and environments. This has to do with Human Ingenuity, as I have to write the script myself, have to create a believable story, with a multiple of jokes, many voice actors, and a creative use of music and sound effects. It’s like filming a movie, except the models are already there, once I have a script and a storyboard to follow (created by me) I can work on the actual machinima. This is all Human Ingenuity as creating the script takes creativity in writing, creating the storyboard requires creativity and ingenuity in drawing and annotating, and then finally combining all film making skills with the created storyboard and script in creating an animated movie, providing it’s audience with entertainment, laughs and a topic interesting for them. This all links to Human Ingenuity as it will be a work of art written by myself, produced, filmed, drawn, written and directed by myself, using nothing more then a computer and my imagination. It could also link to community and service as it’s providing free entertainment for the community to enjoy in their spare time.
There is a wide range of research I would have to complete for this project, what I personally want to research, and want to get done to help me is an interview with a famous machinimator. Ask them questions, what got them started, how they progressed, etc. I will have to watch tutorials on completing machinima, as this will be the first time creating one, but I’ve already seen that the most famous machinimator, has a series of YouTube videos on how to machinimate and I’ll make sure to watch these. I will also research what actually started this genre, how it became popular, as it’s important to understand what got it started, and the 3rd most subscribed channel on YouTube! I will also want to research different techniques and genres in machinima itself, such as action, comedy, music video, drama, horror, etc. Not only will I need to research machinima related topics, but also overall what makes a movie successful, the music in the background, the script, a story that will interest the viewer, and how to efficiently create an animated movie.
That was exactly on page in word, as required. Now I'm off to do the time plan, the research plan and a timeline.

Such as creating a post on the wowmodelviewer forum advertising this blog... Ah well :)
While writing my SoI, I realized that there are a couple of things I could let you all know about,
Firstly;
Once the machinima is done it will be available on many different places:
-My youtube channel
-Machinima's youtube channel
-Machinima website
-Warcraftmovies website
-as a download for both computers and mobile phones
The script will be published on my deviantART, not here so if you want to keep it a surprise, not know all the jokes, you can! Just don't click the link :)

First 9 pages of storyboard.
Why hello therrr!
I am here to present to you, (meaning the reader) the first 9 pages of my pencil-drawn storyboard.
Before I do, a couple of points to clear things up, make your viewing more enjoyable and your opinion more... fair?
My artistic skills are well... :') <- that. Laughable with a tear, so don't judge the machinima by the storyboard! These are just rough sketches to keep me on task when I write the script (I'm one of that kind of people, that can't do anything when asked to do it. I have to improvise! If you followed me before on deviantART you probably know, if your new to my creativity... I feel sorry for you >:))
Second point, similar to the first:
THESE ARE SKETCHES! :D
This is in no way, shape or form (Moonkin form even) a script! The script will be filled with funny jokes, pranks, spoofs, etc. This is just to keep my mind from wandering the streets of Azeroth.
So that said, enjoy the first nine pages, and please leave your honest opinion in the comments below, it would be a great help!

Argh! Have to print screen and paste in paint and save again all of the pages, as my scanner scanned them as a .pdf, which is not accepted by blogger (keep in mind for next time) <- mental note right there.

Progress? Progress.
Well good morning everyone (note I am not aware of what time you will read this at, please do not put the blame on me. It is morming here however)
So four day weekend started, but instead of chilling outside, watching movies or playing games, I'm working on my storyboard for this. :D
So far there are 6 solid pages sketched out in pencil, and I have a good overall idea of the plot, the characters and the comedy. I will upload the storyboard later (phear my drawing skills! Phear them! ... Yeah their not too good.) I'm writing this blog post on my ipod, as I have no access to a computer at the moment. So yes, just to keep you updated, probably ordering windows today too so i can start playing around and making test machinima.
Back to drawing for me! (it's way more fun if accompanied by music. iPod - <3)
