Also what's up ahead; we have a longer weekend this week (thursday-sunday) and during this weekend I will have a rogugh outline of the story done, my statement of intent written up, my research plan and a timeline.
Those are all necessary to be completed half way through June, but since I'm leaving for holidays earlier it's best to get these done.
That's it so far, just a little update :)
I'll keep you posted!
Awesome. Rock on.
ReplyDeleteOne thing though ... this is your blog, and everything you write here reflects upon you. Make it witty. Make it smart. Make it inspiring, and make it yours.
One thing you don't want to do ... is let your writing indicate that your mind is anything less than razor sharp. Your grammar doesn't have to be perfect, but the basics of language must be adhered to. Check your post above and you'll see what I mean. The stupid mistakes are reserved for just those kind of people, and you are not that kind of person :).
I do NOT want you to be flawless, nor do I want you to lose your "voice". Keep your "voice", the edge, keep the bite; but make sure that no elder would ever discredit your ideas because they cannot see past the fog of grammatical errors.
I'm excited for you, Jacek! I'm excited to see what comes next. Well done!
Mr. Rawson
P.S. - make sure your parents follow this blog as well, get them subscribed via email. They would be proud.
Jacek,
ReplyDeleteJust got an email from Mr. Gereats, who reminded staff that you need 4 things:
• Process Journal
• Statement of Intent
• Research Plan
• Long Term Plan
Work on these as individual Word files, named exactly as such, and upload these files to the blog so I can check over them. I'll get an email once you post them :).
Have a nice mini-break!
Mr. Rawson
Thanks a lot for the feedback! I'll make sure to apply all of this throughout this weekend while I add these 4 items :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great 4 day weekend too!
