How to write up your Report
When you write up your report, you must include all of the following elements:

Table of Contents Criteria G | · Titles of sections and sub-sections of your project together with page numbers where they may be found |
Introduction You statement of intent will help you shape this introduction Criteria B | · Define the goal of your project · Clearly describe what inspires you to choose your goal. · Specifications · Explain the focus on the area(s) of interaction · Explain how you intend to fulfil your goal and include a time plan · Why the selected format (website, book, model) · Why is it important? · Any changes? Explain. |
Description of process Keep this section brief. Criteria D | · Describe the process of bringing your project from the initial idea to the final product( Includes all research you undertook) · What techniques did you use? · Justify the use of these techniques. · How information was used to develop product · Could there have been other techniques used? · Describe the characteristics and different aspects of your project, linking them carefully to your chosen Area of Interaction |
Analysis Criteria F | · Inspiration, research and influences guiding your work (how did research affect goal) (D) · Reflect on methods used. (D) · Reflect on decisions made (in regards to research and methods) (D) · Reflect on the resulting product and process in terms of the goal and its focus on the chosen Area of Interaction (F) · Specifications realised? · Clearly reflect on every stage of the process toward achieving your goal. Not what you did but why. (F) |
Conclusion Criteria F | · Reflect on the impact of your project (what you found difficult and hw problems were overcome) · How were AoIs addressed in the project? · Strengths and weaknesses · New perspectives that might be considered (what would you do differently? What could be done in the future in regard to this product ad what has it if any ideas has it planted in you regarding the future? |
Bibliography Criteria C and G | (Use Noodle tools) · Information presented is excellent and relevant · Accurately provided in text citations in body of text and appendices · Wide variety of appropriate resources used. |
Appendices, where applicable Criteria G | For most people, appendices will be essential and include all the evidence of your work including SofI, timelines, photos, excerpts from your journal, examples of research, graphs and diagrams. |
